🐾 Why I Keep Animals at the Heart of My Art

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet power of animals—their grace, their symbolism, their ability to speak without words. In my work, they are more than visuals. They are soulkeepers, messengers, and guardians of the natural world.

As species like the African cheetah face dwindling numbers—fewer than 7,100 remain in the wild—their presence in art becomes even more vital. It’s a way to honor them, to preserve their spirit, and to remind us of what’s slipping away.

Every animal I depict is chosen with reverence. Whether resting in stillness or moving through mythic landscapes, they carry emotional weight and poetic truth. My art is a sanctuary for them—a place where their stories live on.
